An hour-long hike through the rainforest takes you to the freshwater pool at the waterfall's base, perfect for cooling off with a swim.
What's the plan?
Depart from Byron Bay
Minyon Falls Plunge Pool
Beginning in a dry eucalypt forest, we will walk for 2km, descending into the 40 million-year-old subtropical rainforest in the valley. After a rock scramble, arrive at a freshwater pool at the waterfall's base. It is the perfect place to cool off with a swim as you feel the full power of the waterfall. We will return with a 2km walk back up through the eucalypt forest, finishing with a view across the valley.
